In June, MGIMO University and "LETI" signed an agreement on cooperation, which includes cooperation and exchange of experience in educational and scientific areas, as well as joint events for professionals in the field of digital economy (with a priority on the problems of artificial intelligence).

The partners are already engaged in cooperation and joint participation in various events. The partners regularly hold consultations and exchange experiences in the professional sphere. So, on April 22, as part of the seminar «AI 2021: Realities and Opportunities» Digital MGIMO Discussion Club, Kirill Krinkin, Director of the A.S. Popov International Institute of Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity and Communications, ETU «LETI», made a presentation on the topic «Hybrid intelligence: paradigms and future development».

One of the nearest areas for synergy, for example, is to involve the Department in research on the development of Hybrid Intelligence - a scientific area in which LETI has accumulated competences and has been working systematically for several years. The experts of the Department intend to join the project in the part of research of ethical and humanitarian aspects.

There are plans to expand the partnership in other areas as well.
